Breast Implants is done using mammary implants. I prefer silicone gel filled texurised high profile implants. Through submammary cut in a crease below the breast, a pocket is made behind the breast & implant is positioned in the pocket. Incision is closed in layers & supportive dressing is given. After one week dressing is removed & patient is asked to wear bra. Patient is taught to do massage to the implant to keep it freely mobile. The purpose of this operation is to form well projecting breasts with inter-mammary cleavage.
