Male pattern baldness is best treated with hair transplant. Technique we prefer is microfollicular graft – FUT. In few suitable patients we use FUE technique. It is always done by a team of 2 or 3 surgeons. Procedure is done under local anesthesia. Results are seen after 4 to 6 months.
STEM CELL THERAPY – Stem Cells Hair Transplant is new solution still at research stage. However, early results are very promising. It is worth trying. We use patient’s own stem cells harvested from his / her hair root. Patient’s hair follicles are harvested by plucking hairs under magnification. Harvested hair follicles are sent to laboratory in special container. From hair follicle patient’s own stem cells are cultured & multiplied. These cultured cells are then implanted on patient’s scalp once a month in our clinic. 4 to 6 such sessions are recommended.
